I'm a full stack developer now

Carbon
@Carbon3:03 PM

what have you built?

Kanırtan1337

Kanırtan1337 downloaded a template, renamed a few variables, and called himself a developer. He can't explain a single line of the code, but his LinkedIn title already says "Software Engineer".

People like this usually watch a couple of tutorials, copy code line by line, and end up learning nothing while claiming expert status.

Watch out for lines like:

  • "I already know every language"
  • "Copied it from Stack Overflow, it worked, so I get it"
  • "AI wrote it, so I basically wrote it too"
  • "Don't need a CS degree, I'm already senior"
  • "There's no bug, you just don't get it"

YOU AIN'T A DEVELOPER 😫

didn't understand this function, can someone explain?

Carbon
@Carbon3:03 PM

@Kanırtan13373:03 PM

ahh got it now, thanks!

anytime 🙂

Kanırtan1337 admitted he didn't know, asked a question, and learned. Carbon helped without being condescending. That's what real growth looks like — not knowing isn't shameful, pretending to know is.

Remember:

  • "I don't know, I want to learn" is a strong sentence
  • Code working doesn't mean you understand it
  • AI is a tool, not an identity
  • Experience comes from problems solved, not years claimed

Being open to learning is what makes you grow 🎉
